Highway 12, the All-American Road, is one of the most scenic drives around, offering views of the orange hoodoos and rock, red canyons, green forests, mountains, and many of the state and national parks within Utah – just stunning landscapes!

Start in Las Vegas
The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World and is famous for its mega casino-hotels and associated activities.
Sand Hollow State Park
The park features a 1,322-acre reservoir and an extensive off-highway vehicle recreation area on Sand Mountain. With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, Utah’s newest state park is also one of its most popular.
Vermilion Cliffs National Monument
Vermilion Cliffs National Monument is located in Arizona, immediately south of the Utah state line. This national monument, 293,689 acres in area, protects the Paria Plateau, Vermilion Cliffs, Coyote Buttes, and Paria Canyon. Elevations in the monument range from 3,100 feet to 6,500 feet above sea level.

The area includes a Visitor Center, the Grand Canyon Lodge, and a number of hiking trails, including the Bright Angel Point Trail and Transept Trail.
Glen Canyon National Recreation Area – Lake Powell
Lake Powel and the area around it is a major vacation spot visited by approximately two million people every year.
Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument
When driving on 89 from the southern tip of Lake Powel, toward the Utah town of Kanab, all the visible steps of the Grand Staircase-Escalante can be seen at once.
Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest, on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. It includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections. Upper Antelope Canyon: About 660 feet (200 m) Lower Antelope Canyon: About 1,335 feet (407 m)
Monument Valley
Monument Valley, a red-sand desert region on the Arizona-Utah border, is known for the towering sandstone buttes.
Mexican Hat Rock
The name “Mexican Hat” comes from a curiously sombrero-shaped rock outcropping. The rock measures 60-foot (18 m) wide by 12-foot (3.7 m).
Goosenecks State Park
This is a state park in the U.S. state of Utah with excellent views of a deep meander of the San Juan River. The park is located near the southern border of the state a short distance (6.5 miles) from Mexican Hat, Utah.
Mesa Verde National Park
Mesa Verde National Park is in southwest Colorado. It’s known for its well-preserved Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings, notably the huge Cliff Palace.

Capitol Reef National Park
Capitol Reef National Park is in Utah’s south-central desert. It surrounds a long wrinkle in the earth known as the Waterpocket Fold, with layers of golden sandstone, canyons and striking rock formations.
Kodachrome Basin State Park
Located 5,800 feet above sea level, 12 miles south of Utah Route 12, and 20 miles southeast of Bryce Canyon National Park.
Bryce Canyon
This park is a sprawling reserve in southern Utah. The park’s main road leads past the expansive Bryce Amphitheater
Cedar Breaks National Park
Cedar Breaks National Monument is a U.S. National Monument located in the U.S. state of Utah near Cedar City. Cedar Breaks is a natural amphitheater, stretching across 3 miles, with a depth of over 2,000 feet.
Zion National Park
Zion National Park is a southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River.
